Discover the world of Transparent Art (also known as acetate in artwork).  This is one of the hottest trends in paper crafts, scrapbooking and mixed media art.  In this workshop, learnn how to use transparent art in your cards, collage, jewellery, altered books and scrapbook pages by combining it with stamped images, painted backgrounds, transferred images, sewn, cut etc.  Turn something simple into a more sophisticated look.

Please bring a basic tool kit, favourtie stamps and Alcohol Inks if you have them.

Create amazing backgrounds for your stamped images or accent pieces for your cards or layouts. In this class you will work magic using not only Adirondack Alcohol Inks but also Pinata Alcohol Inks on glossy cardstock and transparencies. Learn how to do the polished stone effect & more.
If you have the Tim Holtz alcohol ink applicator, please bring it to class.

Join the ATC Hive for our monthly meeting & swap. This month's theme is School Days.  This is a great way to share ideas, learn new techniques and just have fun. This unique spiral bound album with coils at both sides and centre opening with layers of pages to create your memories.  Each layer of pages flip over and under each other and makes for an interesting viewing of memories.  You will be using various pages made from vellum, transparencies, decorative paper, tags & envelopes.

Add a new flower to your garden! Quilled roses can be tricky to make, but they’re pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Join Cheryl to learn the technique and get started on an arrangement of roses suitable for a fancy card or even framing in a shadow box.

Young Crafters returns this July with an awesome new project. Students will make an accordion album and matching box to showcase their favourite photos, notes, stories and other cool bits. The theme of our sample is "All About Me" but students are encouraged to show their creativity and come up with a whole new theme.Whether it's a family vacation or pictures of your pets, this project will allow you to showcase these memories as well as your artsy skills. Please be sure to bring 8-10 photos to class. Please do not bring photos that cannot be cut or glued. All other materials are included. Come check out the sample in store.
