AUGUST IS BECOMING…

MAGENTA IS A GREAT CANADIAN STAMP COMPANY WITH MANY YEARS IN THE BUSINESS.  THEY ALSO HAVE CRAFTY INDIVIDUAL STAMPS.  THEY HAVE GREAT PAPERS INCLUDING MARU AND NEW CHIPBOARD SHAPES AND SOME AWESOME CORK SQUARES ALONG WITH MANY, MANY MORE PRODUCTS!

SO WE DECIDED TO DEDICATE THIS MONTH TO THEM!

WE HAVE STARTED WITH OUR STAMP OF THE MONTH BEING THE WILD BERRIES SET AND WHICH DANIZA WILL WORK HER MAGIC WITH ON THE 21ST OF AUGUST.

BUT WE ARE GETTING STARTED THIS SATURDAY (7TH) WITH A VISIT FROM HELENE METIVIER (ONE OF THE OWNERS OF MAGENTA)!  THERE WILL BE 2 GREAT CLASSES: 1 USING ALL MAGENTA STAMPS (INCLUDING CSET30 SEE BELOW) WITH LOTS OF GREAT TECHNIQUES AND PRODUCTS TO LEARN ABOUT AND THE 2ND CLASS WILL BE WORKING WITH CRAFTY INDIVIDUAL STAMPS AND LOTS MORE AWESOME PRODUCTS!  REAL LIFE SAMPLES ARE IN THE STORE NOW!

JEN STARR – THIS WEEKEND AT THE HIVE!

The Big, Bad, Bizzy B Blogger is Back!!

Things have been so hectic through April and May we have lagged behind here – but now we are back in a big way!

If you haven’t already signed up for this weekend’s huge line up of classes with Jen Starr you really need to get on that!  Call the store now at 416-203-0433 and make sure you have a secure spot!

This is going to be a terrifically creative weekend for all who attend.  There are 6 classes in 4 days.  They range from a Shabby Chic Album on Friday to Technique Tags & Scrapbooking 6 8″ x 8″ pages on Saturday, a full day of card classes (8 cards in both classes) & finally the Triple G on Monday evening!  Tons of techniques to be learned, products to play with and of course FREE STUFF if you sign up for 2 or more classes throughout the weekend.  Refreshments will also be provided throughout the weekend!

Good Friday

What a beautiful March we had here in the Toronto area and we are starting April off with a beautiful Friday!  Whether you are commemorating Easter, Passover or just enjoying a long weekend it always goes better with warm sunshine!

Just a reminder that Bizzy B’s is closed today for Good Friday and we will be closed on Sunday for Easter Sunday.  We want you to enjoy some family / friend time this Easter weekend!

Having said that we would love for you to visit “The Hive” tomorrow (April 3rd), dip into our basket of eggs and reveal your Easter gift from us. (With purchase). We are open 10am-6pm for your convenience.  OOOHHHH and I think I heard some chocolate bunnies were going to be hanging out with us too!

We would like you to mark your calendars for a few things in April.  The first is next Saturday (April 10th) is our Stamp of the Month Demo. As you may have already noticed this month’s stamp was designed by our very own customer – Collette Copeland.  Collette designed a series of stamps for Stampington (she also writes articles for their magazines) and they are all in the store now.  The stamp we choose for Stamp of the Month is called Marie-Claire which was named for Collette’s sister and you can see it here!  Collette will also be at the demo next week so if you haven’t met her, or if you have any questions for her the place to be is Bizzy B’s for the demo!  We will also be extending a 10% discount on all other stamps in Collette’s series for that day only.

IT’S TIME FOR

That’s right come on out to Kitchener and visit us on April 17th – it is sure to be a Bizzy day!

There will be demo’s and all kinds of great SCHTUFF!!

The store will be open regular hours while we are there so no need to worry

Rolling into February!

Actually it seems February is rolling along pretty quickly as we are almost here at Valentines Day and the long Family Day weekend!

IMPORTANT:  We will be closed Monday, February 15th for Family Day – enjoy!

There is still time to join us for our “For the Love of Scramping Olympics” tomorrow.  It’s going to be a great day of challenges, games food (Olympic style) and lots of fun with friends.  Call the hive now at 416-203-0433 to make sure you don’t miss out on the “games”!

We are still catching our breath from all the CHA activity we are experiencing.

Already on our shelves are some beautiful papers from Au dela des cimes – Tropic 9 line – direct from France.  We also have a great selection of characters from a new line of stamps called Loralie Designs. ‘These stamps include a fun character and several related elements which work with all the other designs in the collection. Find yourself and everyone in your world’ in this fun collection as Loralie says.  They are great for using Copic markers or for colouring in general, card making, sewing, quilting & embroidery.  Check out the catalogue to see your favourite character!

A whole bunch of new ribbons just arrived in the store today – looking really pretty!

In transit to the hive are all the new Graphic 45 papers – some awesome masculine papers too!  Can’t wait to see those!  You will need to make sure you get in quick with these as they always just fly off the shelves.

March 6th: Our Second Hand Stamp & Stuff Sale – time to dig out the items you haven’t used in a while and do your own recycling.  There are always others looking for what you have and in turn you may find some new treasures!
